Mireya Pérez began her interpreting career as a certified medical interpreter. She worked in a general and children's hospital and spent almost 10 years as a staffed interpreter in a K-12 public education school district, where she championed the vital role of Trained Interpreters in Education. With a Master's in Communications, Mireya is committed to advocating for trained interpreters and continuing to elevate the voices and stories of language professionals worldwide.
